Manvel Police Department offers convenient access to accident reports via the Internet

Manvel, Texas: The Manvel Police Department is pleased to announce the implementation of an easy-to-use online process for obtaining copies of most accident reports.

Manvel Police Department is now collaborating with PoliceReports.US, LLC to offer this service. Citizens and insurers can now access accident reports, except cases involving special circumstances, via the Internet at the following URLs: http://accidentreports.manvelpd.org or http://ManvelTX.PoliceReports.US.

Starting Friday, September 14, 2007, the Manvel Police Department will offer online access to copies of accident reports generated on or after January 1, 2007, thereby, eliminating the need to file an Open Records Request.
Although accident reports will still be available from the Police Department’s Records Division, the new method is wait-free, easy to use and can be accessed at your convenience. The reports, whether obtained in person or online, cost $4. Major credit or debit cards are accepted.

Electronic distribution of accident reports via the web will allow the Manvel Police Department to be more efficient while providing a higher level of service to the Citizens of Manvel.
