VICTIM: JOSEPH ROY FLY, JR

 

At approximately 10:35 am on Monday, September 27, 2004, the Manvel Police Department received a call from a local resident stating that they had just discovered the body of an unknown white male laying just off the side of the road in the 7000 block of Iowa Lane in Manvel. The resident told officers that they were driving along Iowa Lane and as they looked towards a driveway, they noticed what appeared to be a person laying on the ground. The resident then told officers that they stopped to investigate and saw what they believed to be a deceased mail and immediately called the police.

Manvel Police Sgt. C. Martin advised that the deceased male, describe above, was last seen at a grocery store on South Street and Gordon Street in Alvin around 1:10 pm on Saturday, September 25, 2004, buying groceries.

Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of the person(s) involved in this Homicide. Anyone with information one the whereabouts of the person(s) involved in this Homicide, or any other Felony Crime, is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-460-2222.
