Communications
When you call the Manvel Police Department or 911, a Communications Operator is the first person you will speak with.
The Communications Division is staffed by civilian personnel who are responsible for providing emergency response for Manvel Police Department, Manvel Volunteer Fire Department, and the Iowa Colony Fire Department. The Manvel Police Department also contracts with the Alvin Independent School District Police Department for after hours call taking and emergency dispatching.
